The livestock show that spreads over two full weekends allows you to see the animals up close and you’ll also learn a lot about their cares and needs. There will be goats, lambs, hogs, and cattle. There’s also the horse shows which are divided into five different areas of competition: arabian, quarter horse, saddle horse, cutting, and hunter/jumper.
How do you know what horse show to attend? Well, let’s see. The Arabian show is best if your knowledge about horses is limited but you still want to admire the biggest, best and finest horses. The Cutting events are best suited for people who are interested in knowing how horses are used today by working cowboys. If what you want is Olympic horse riding, don’t miss the Hunter/Jumper shows. Quarter horses are versatile so the events are varied to show the people what these animals can do. Saddle horses are graceful and very agile as well, so these shows are visually pleasant and they’re amazing exhibits you won’t want to miss.
