Will my Medicare benefits change due to the Health Care Reform?
Do I need to do anything on October 1st?
Do I need to go to the Marketplace to see my new benefits?
There is a lot of confusion about what is going on, and trust me we share your pain.
Here is what you need to know:
- Your Original Medicare benefits will not change from the Health Care Reform Law
- Medicare Advantage and Medicare Part D (prescription) programs have an annual enrollment period from October 15 through December 7th.
- The health marketplace or health exchange will not have any health information for those on Medicare, it is only for those under the age of 65.
- You do not have to make any changes unless you want to, it is no different from any previous year. If you want to review your options, contact your independent agent
